Since 1982, Associated Builders and Contractors, Southeastern Michigan Chapter (ABC) has been training construction apprentices to be the best construction craft professionals in the business. Our highly accredited Department of Labor approved apprenticeship program has prepared hundreds of men and women to lead rich and prosperous lives in the construction industry.
As an alternative offering to our four year HVAC apprenticeship curriculum, the ABC Southeastern Michigan Chapter has developed trade specific skillset programs.
This class will provide the basic instruction in Duct Layout, Sizing, Fittings, and Proper Installation, to make your employees more productive and thus more profitable.
The Fundamentals of Sheet Metal class is a 72 hour – nine week course.
Those students that successfully complete the course will receive a Certificate of Participation.

• Tools of the Trade 3 Hours
• Duct Sizing 6 Hours
• Duct Layout and Codes 12 Hours
• Shop Time – Fittings, Installation, Proper Sizing 45 Hours
